Here's a hint: Only catch fish swimming to the right, from the left side of the screen. Cast your reel out as far as possible, then when you see a fish or alligator swim in, slowly drag your line in until it is just left of your feet. When the fish gets there, hold down on space and you should snag the fish and bring it in, without breaking a pole. Remember, ignore fish that enter from the right side of the screen

Thanks, I'll try that. How high have you gotten? I'm trying to get a goal number to reach. I've followed your advice, and after a few tries, my top score is 6359. Unfortunately, when I lose, it's because I run out of time. I still had seven rods left.

Yup that's the downside of that strategy, ittakes up a lot of time. Maybe cast it out all the way and then quickly reel it in right below your feet regardless of whether there's a fish or not, so you will be able to get one if it comes along from either side

whoa, LOL I dont believe that we won even though 2 people sat out and 2 people didn't even send in a score...but it'll just make the hit harder if we actually *lose* a competition
